Welcome, Friend. I’m Dorene —the woman behind Pearls & Pumas and Pearls of Praise Prints.
I’m a wife, mom, corporate professional, creative, lifelong learner, and, above all, a woman who loves Jesus. I’m also your advocate, your cheerleader, and quite possibly the person reminding you that you’re more capable than you think.
Why? Because while we may not know each other personally, I relate.
I relate to the full, sometimes messy, beautiful reality of being a woman trying to live with faith and purpose while managing...well, ALL. THE. THINGS.
That heart is what led me to create Pearls & Pumas—a place where faith, encouragement, personal growth, planning, and real life could exist together.
And eventually, that same heart found its way into Pearls of Praise Prints.

I love to dream. I love to read. LOVE to love. And I love to learn and grow.
But life isn't perfect—and neither am I.
I live it much the same way you probably do: one step in front of the other. Praying. Believing. Learning. Growing. Living.
Through it all, I find my peace with God at the center, His Word as my truth, and Jesus as the One I keep coming back to.
